Charter Hall named 2023 AFR BOSS Most Innovative Property, Construction and Transport Company

Charter Hall is proud to be recognised as one of Australia and New Zealand’s Most Innovative Companies for the second consecutive year.

The prestigious annual AFR BOSS Most Innovative Companies List, published by The Australian Financial Review and BOSS Magazine, is based on an employee survey and written submission, and is assessed by Australia’s leading behavioural science consultancy, Inventium.

Charter Hall ranked first on the Property, Construction and Transport List, from over 700 nominated organisations across Australia and New Zealand.

Charter Hall was recognised for its Australian-first, custom-built Lease Easy platform, which manages the end-to-end retail specialty leasing process, from initial lead to shop handover.

Charter Hall Retail CEO, Mr Ben Ellis, said, “Lease Easy has transformed the way we complete our retail specialty leasing transactions, with significant benefits for our customers and people.

“On average, we complete 550 leasing transactions annually. Thanks to Lease Easy this process has been brought down from 93 steps to 43 – cutting processing time in half and reducing the workload for our Lease Administration team by 60% per transaction.

“Most importantly, our customers can now open their shops and start generating income sooner.

“This innovation is part of our ongoing strategy to leverage automation and smart technology to streamline business-critical processes, improve our customer experience and better our way of working.
