Our funds give you access to add commercial property to your investment mix.
Featuring quality properties on long term leases, and delivering stable returns with the potential for capital growth, they’re the types of investment favoured by large institutions like super funds.
Hear from Steven Bennett, Head of Direct at Charter Hall, on what to look out for when adding commercial property to your investment portfolio.
Direct Property investing is an investment in commercial property – that includes office, industrial, retail or social infrastructure property - via a direct or unlisted property fund.
Commercial property can be an attractive alternative investment to residential property, shares and term deposits - and Unlisted Direct Property Funds can act as an important cornerstone in a balanced portfolio, offering diversification benefits, access to regular income and returns that are not correlated to listed investments.
Unlisted Direct Property Funds have the following features:
Charter Hall’s Unlisted Direct Property Funds deliver sustainable and stable income, derived from real properties with long leases and locked in annual rent increases plus the potential for capital growth.
Please refer to the relevant PDS for a summary of the key investment risks. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance.
Listed Property Funds, also known as Australian real estate investment trusts (A-REITs), provide investors with exposure to commercial property. A-REITs are traded on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), which provides the benefit of daily liquidity.
You can invest in Charter Hall Group itself, or in one of the three funds we manage and gain exposure to the properties they hold.
Commercial property offers mid-to-long-term investments with regular income. You can gain access to quality properties by opting into an Unlisted Direct Property Fund or a Listed Property Fund, and by doing your research into yields, occupancy, and lease terms, you may have a clearer idea of which properties will make for good investments.
