Charter Hall WALE Limited as responsible entity of the Charter Hall Long WALE REIT (ASX:CLW) is pleased to announce the successful completion of its 1-for-17 accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer (Entitlement Offer) announced on 4 November 2019.
The retail component of the Entitlement Offer (Retail Entitlement Offer) closed on 19 November 2019, raising approximately $34.4 million. This follows the successful completion of the institutional component of the Entitlement Offer (Institutional Entitlement Offer) which raised approximately $87.5 million and the institutional placement which raised $120.0 million, taking the total equity raising to $241.9 million.
Eligible retail securityholders took up approximately $1.4 million (including applications by retail securityholders who applied early and were allotted new securities on the same day as securities that were allotted under the Institutional Entitlement Offer), representing a participation rate of approximately 4%. The remaining approximately $33.0 million will be allocated to various institutional investors who sub-underwrote the Retail Entitlement Offer.
Allotment of new securities issued under the Retail Entitlement Offer will occur on 26 November 2019 with trading to commence on the ASX on a normal settlement basis on 27 November 2019. Holding statements will be despatched on 28 November 2019.
